This is a quality address, offering a menu inspired by French and Italian cuisine with Asian touches. The decor is as romantic and bohemian as you could wish for. It's very pleasant to sit on the banquette with its soft cushions. The wine list is well thought-out but not cheap. An address to remember, well located and close to Anne Frank's house.

A place not to be missed when exploring the Jordaan. Located on Westerstraat, Raïnaraï has become a benchmark when it comes to North African gastronomy in Amsterdam. Laurent Med Khellout is the chef at the helm of what is fast becoming a renowned little empire. You can choose to take away, or eat on the spot in a pleasant, warm setting with large wooden tables or a corner with a decor more faithful to the Maghreb. You can also buy fruit and vegetables and carefully sourced spices.

To reach this newly opened public space, take the ferry to the north bank of the Ij just behind the cinémathèque. Housed in a modern building, this large space with its minimalist decor invites discovery. It's a coworking space where people meet to work, but also to drink coffee, savor a pastry, have a drink and enjoy an evening meal in elegant surroundings. The menu features burgers at lunchtime and small dishes to share in the evening. A great place to meet people.

Oficina is a sleekly designed restaurant offering modern, bistronomic cuisine. Here we find a touch of the hygge concept dear to Scandinavian countries, where cosy places make you want to stay and bask. Here, produce is sourced directly from local farms. The Japanese tea is carefully sourced. The menu changes every week, but always respects seasonal produce. The plates are carefully prepared, and the service very welcoming. Note the small, pleasant terrace, which is crowded on sunny days.

In the heart of the northern district, in a buzzing area, the lively creators of Euro Pizza have put a twist on pizza during the pandemic by offering top-quality frozen pizzas. Since then, they've opened their own restaurant, and it's a huge success. In a raw setting, you can eat pizzas, of course, but that's not all. The menu is concise and very efficient. Save room for the dessert, which is always very well thought out. We particularly like the comté pizza. A fine list of natural wines and service that reflects the place, lively and welcoming.

Don't be put off by the name of this restaurant, probably not tested by marketing teams before opening. Moche stands for modern ceviche and is a Peruvian cuisine restaurant, a newcomer to the culinary scene in Amsterdam's East End. Here, everything is homemade, and the emphasis is on a blend of flavors and fresh ingredients. Moche's goal? To take you on a culinary journey through Peruvian gastronomy. Fish fans will be pleased.

It's hard to find a better place to have lunch! Adjacent to the Anne Frank house on Prinsengracht, and a few steps away from the famous 9 Streets, this café offers a nice and welcoming terrace and a warm indoor space. The service is fast and very nice. The menu is simple, but everything is fresh and of good quality: quiches, salads, sandwiches, vegetarian snacks, cheese and charcuterie platters... The café is affiliated to the yellow boats of Amsterdam Circle Line, which depart right in front of the terrace!

Barbie alert in Amsterdam! Here's a beach like no other, the brainchild of the team behind Wondr Experience, a bar-restaurant unlike any other! The decor seems to have come straight out of Palm Spring or Miami. Pink dominates, because it's a happy color according to the founder. No real pool, but a ball pool and an Instagrammable atmosphere. The cocktails, served in mini-bathtubs, are very successful. We come here to take unforgettable photos. The sky sometimes reminds us that we're in the Netherlands.

Just a 2-minute walk from the station, on the edge of the red-light district, you'll find a very pleasant and typical stopover, where you can even take a boat and moor up on the bank of this beautiful pub, which is very lively from 9pm onwards, to enjoy a draught in a marine setting enhanced by the warmth of the brown wood, or to bask in the sun on the terrace that forms an angle with the top of the Oudezijds Voorburgwal. It's all very photogenic. The menu features brasserie dishes, salads and more hearty meat dishes. A typical address.

In the north, like many of these trendy addresses, it's nestled in a large hangar, which is open to you for a drink and a bite to eat (café dick & dick). It's best to take the ramp and skate. The menu offers a variety of plates with flavors from around the world, with a penchant for Indonesian dishes. We love the rough-and-tumble urban atmosphere. A buzz address.
