BIKE CITY
Bike City is one of the best options for renting a bike in Amsterdam. Located at the entrance of the Jordaan, a few blocks from the Central Station, it is a charming store on the Bloemgracht (Flower Canal). The bikes are of very good quality, fully equipped; and several choices are proposed: notably for the braking system (back-pedaling or rim brakes). Note that this is one of the few agencies in the city to offer unmarked bikes, which will allow you to visit the city while blending in with the local population.

Welcome to Bike City! Located in the heart of Amsterdam, we are a privately owned bike rental company. We rent out authentic Dutch bicycles, in a discreet black - no loud colours or billboards. So you can blend in perfectly with the local population.

Our location in the heart of the Jordaan, Amsterdam's picturesque district, is the ideal starting point for a bike ride, fromwhere you can easily explore the centre, the city's canals or the more remote and natural parts of the city!
Our bikes
You can choose between three types of bikes for rent, all of them discreet. All our bicycles are of course maintained in perfect condition and regularly checked by our team of experts.
1. Bicycle with Torpedo system brake or deluxe with hand brake, just like the bike you have at home, equipped with three gears. The soft saddle provides extra riding comfort.
2. 7-speed bike with wide aluminium frame and low seat. Easy to ride and ideal for covering long distances. Rent it with its waterproof bag for a perfect day out!
