Long Street is a shopping and tourist thoroughfare and is at the heart of Cape Town's nightlife. It is also the axis that joins Green Point and Camps Bay, a reason that probably led to its development more than 300 years ago. As its name suggests, it is very long: it starts from the De Waterkant business district and then, after the intersection with Strand Street, becomes part of the popular Bo Kaap district, with its small halal grocery stores, bookstores and mosques. Finally, in its upper part, it aligns restaurants, discos and backpackers.

Une ville très diversifiée, faites un tour à "the company's garden", un parc proche de Tuynhuys (résidence officielle des présidents de la République), et de la cathédrale Saint Georges, mais également au quartier malais "Bo-Kaap" avec ses maisons colorées

rue animée du centre ville de Captown , des bars et des restaurants à foison , dans un style colonial pour certains .
Rue assez bruyante le soir n ideale pour faire la fete mais il vaut mieux dormir un peu plus loin ...
plutot sympa meme si les prix affichés sont superieurs à ce qui se pratique dans les rues alentours .

Une rue très animée, avec beaucoup de restaurants proposant toutes sortes de cuisine. La rue n'est pas toujours très bien fréquentée mais des gardiens surveillent les voitures.
