We are our second trip to Cape town. in 3ans. It is always difficult to do better returning on site… And yet, Ekima and their team, Emilia at the head, made us rediscover with numerous innovations compared to what we almost designed to know… Good Pod Camps Bay is a very class and discretion that we already know and where we had stayed. Then, the visit to Laetitia (Passionate Guide/sea with the world tour), only peninsula was for us a great moment of training of what we believe to know and on which we learnt a lot from what is not in the guides and that we would never have uncovered alone. Bucket elevator (on the west coast north of Cape), an advice Emilia, was for us a revelation: small fishing village to very consistent architecture and therefore all white as a village of a small Greek island is a wonder not to be missed, especially if you can stay in Strandloper Boutique Hotel, you Establish very class, right by the sea and with a reception, service and Cuisine of very high quality.We continued our tour to the wines, where we stayed 2 nights, the icing on the cake, a day guided by Mathieu, a French young for a long time a graduate in oenology and installed in Cape town since 12 years. It taught us nicely all the secrets of a real tasting in two estates of very high quality and we learned much and liked…Then, a little road to the Indian Ocean and Grootbos, a Hotel (Reserve) magnificent overlooking the Ocean with the same view, depending on the weather, on Cape Point Lighthouse. Beautiful architecture and decoration, breathtaking view, superb Cuisine, basically a real plus the Council Emilia because we would never have found only this magical place.Finally, 4 to 5 hours (depending on whether one stops for lunch…) for Knysna.A place equally magical, not only by its impressive lagoon but especially for the gigantic beaches on the Indian Ocean, especially in Bufflels Bay and Brenton on Sea.Good, quite compliments for Ekima and Emilia, only one thing for sure, we will certainly return for the third time in this region of the next year, while waiting to be able to return to The savannah Lodge de Kruger Park as soon as our Grandchildren are in age can go up in Range Rover discovered in the heart of the Big Five.....
