Restaurant located on the roadside in front of a large parking lot offering menus that highlight tradition and terroir.
Situated opposite a large parking lot, on the road leading to the Col de la Nugère, the Chaudron Gourmand is especially popular for its lunchtime menu: a complete menu with cheese platter and 1/4 wine. In the evening, the roadside character of the restaurant changes slightly, with menus featuring local produce: homemade pounti, filet mignon, Auvergne burger, duck breast... Fans will be pleased by the frogs' legs on the à la carte menu. Without being exceptional, Le Chaudron is a good address in this area. The welcome is also very pleasant.

Très bonne cuisine, dans un cadre super sympa, et prix très correct, cuisto agréable et souriant. Serveuse un peu réservée c'est dommage pour bien accueillir le client

Nous nous sommes rendu dans ce petit restaurant. Que de belles surprises. Cuisine très bonnes et prix loin d’être onéreux. Rapport qualité prix super ! Personnel accueillant

Schönes Restaurant mit grossen Parkplatz für Lkw. Duschen sind ok. Essen sehr großzügig und lecker. Die Besitzer und das Personal sind sehr freundlich. Gerne wieder.
