It is here that the afro-style elite meets on the tunes of Kinshasa and Abidjan on Friday and Saturday nights between 10 pm and 5 am. We dance until the early morning on R'n'B, zouk or hip-hop rhythms. Beware, difficult entrance and massive gorillas, because the place is held with an iron hand by a Kinshasa man dressed in a suit. On Sundays, the club offers an African buffet to all its customers.

In the Melville district, on trendy 7th Street, the place is pronounced Shy Shy, a casual lounge bar where you can rub elbows with the poets and short story writers of the South African press. The bar-restaurant takes its name from a small coastal town in Mozambique, so the décor is reminiscent of the neighbouring country, between sea and jungle. The regulars spend endless evenings here, over a traditional Portuguese dish, a good beer or the house cocktails. The atmosphere sometimes takes off when the students are out.

Located in a building with an original architecture, here is a small cosy café with a friendly and warm atmosphere where it is good to stop for a good coffee, a cappuccino or a homemade fruit cocktail if you are passing through the Melville neighborhood.
