Hoan Kiêm Lake has always inspired artists and reflects the soul of the capital
Called Petit Lac at the time of French Indochina, today Hoan Kiêm Lake (Hô), Lake of the Restituted Sword, it reflects the soul of the capital. The lake has always inspired artists, most recently La Grande Sophie, whose song Hanoi (in the album Nos histoires) successfully evokes the universe that revolves around this emerald green expanse, repository of a legendary past:

Temple sur l'eau.
Dommage qu'il soit inaccessible (car il se trouve sur une île au milieu du lac) car il éveille la curiosité. On ne peut que l'observer de loin, le photographier jour et nuit sans trop savoir ce qu'il cache.

Temple au milieu du lac
Un temple sur une île au milieu du lac. Inaccessible à tous, il faudrait traverser le lac (sale) à la nage. Aucun kayak ou bateau n'est proposé. Vous l'observer juste de loin (un peu loin quand même) pour prendre des photos.

Le lac est en plein centre de la ville. Il apporte un certain calme, mais il est vrai qu'il y a énormément de gens qui s'y promènent. Le matin très tôt les habitants de la ville y font du sport (badminton, tai chi, aérobic...). C'est vraiment très sympa à observer.

Promenade autour du lac agréable surtout le soir quand le pont est illuminé en rouge ! beaucoup de jeunes couples en habits traditionnels vont y faire leurs photos de mariage !! on vous racontera la légende de la Tortue si vous prenez 30 min pour visiter la Pagode !
