This vast market was built in 1928 thanks to financing from a wealthy Chinese merchant, Quach Dam, a rice trader.

Enormous hall, whose covered part resembles the old Baltard pavilions of the Parisian halles, with an Indochinese touch. The market was built in 1928, thanks to the financing of a wealthy Chinese rice trader, Quach Dam. Each alley or square has its specialities, and the smells guide you to the corner of dried fish, fresh meat, spices, fruit, vegetables, tobacco... Not forgetting a whole square of mini-restaurants, where you can eat delicious specialities accompanied by steaming tea.
