About thirty kilometres from Pontevedra, the fishing village of O Grove is a pleasant getaway in the heart of the Arousa ria. It faces east to the island of La Toja, famous for its thermal waters, which can be reached by a bridge. At the end of the peninsula, the port of O Grove has two activities: mussel farming (see the armada of mussel platforms blocking the horizon) and tourism. In spite of the many hotels that have entirely annexed its lanes, O Grove is saturated during most of the summer. For those who still want to try the adventure, you will find room formulas at the inhabitant's, ask the shopkeepers for more information.
