Bakio is home to one of Txakoli's most important productions: every year more than 130,000 litres of this fruity and sparkling white wine are produced. The Doniene Gorrondona estate was one of the pioneers of the rebirth of Txakoli in the 1990s, and nowadays around 15 hectares are farmed to produce its different varieties. A visit to the winery includes a txakoli tasting, but you can also opt for a meal on site!
