Gothic cathedral built in the place of a large mosque disappeared, in the excess of its time in Huesca
The Gothic cathedral dominates the whole square. Built in the place of a large mosque that has disappeared, it is the height of its time. It took three centuries, from the 13th to the 15th century, to complete it. The local touch is provided by a gallery and a typical Aragonese eaves. The most outstanding element is the altarpiece of the high altar made by the sculptor Damián Forment. We recommend a visit to the tower, a Gothic construction from the 14th century. After climbing a staircase of 180 steps, the landscape is sumptuous.

Belle cathédrale gothique à visiter
La visite de la cathédrale est indispensable si l'on passe par Huesca. Bel exemple de l'art gothique, elle possède un magnifique tympan extérieur. Pour visiter l'intérieur, il faut payer 4 euros ou bien s'y rendre aux heures de messes.
