Due to their geographical proximity on the left bank of the Aragon River, Astún and Candanchú have always been united. Now they share their lift pass. Astún is about 30 km from Jaca and is well oriented and protected from the wind in a mountainous cirque, and the snow remains good even in spring. The resort has 50 km of skiable terrain with 61 runs and 15 lifts, corresponding to all levels of difficulty (slopes between 1,658 and 2,300 meters). It is one of the temples of snowboarding in Spain, and as such it is very popular with young people. In summer, the lifts continue to operate to take you to the beginning of hiking trails.
