LA ORZA
Read moreJust a stone's throw from the Museo Greco, this is a very good address. You'll find a warm, rustic yet chic setting for lomo de la Orza (pig's tenderloin), Toleban-style partridge, cod brandade with fried bacon, tender venison fillet with potato emulsion and mango sauce and, for dessert, mazapan custard. There's also a terrace to enjoy the fine weather. Perhaps you'll run into the mayor of Toledo, as the local political class is always on hand!

LA LUDEÑA
Read moreHere, it is not great cuisine, but an option of choice to enjoy tapas in an authentic atmosphere. If it is sometimes necessary to play elbows to get to the bar, that the service can be a little average, we eat there for a good price-quality ratio. If you want to taste the local speciality, Carcamusas (made from pork, tomatoes and chickpeas) by those who almost invented it, don't hesitate to visit this small tavern. It's okay, it's cheap and the locals are rushing in. That's a good sign!
RESTAURANTE ADOLFO
Read moreThis 14th century building - with its refined atmosphere and décor - offers a choice address that celebrated its 40th anniversary in 2019. The products are very well crafted, of high quality and the wine list is impressive. Let the sommelier guide you. A beautiful evening in perspective.
EL TREBOL
Read moreA few steps from Place Zocodover, it is first of all the pretty terrace of this establishment that will catch your eye. Set in a small quiet street, this is a godsend for long sunny days. And what about the interior highlighting the remains of the first wall of Toledo? Beautiful. On the taste buds side, tapas, pulgas and raciones: de queso monte de Toledo, gambas à l'ail or pâté de partridge. This is enough to enjoy a good panorama of delicious tapas topped with a homemade beer. Service a little fast though.
RESTAURANTE ALFILERITOS 24
Read moreBoth a restaurant and a tapas bar, this establishment occupies a beautifully restored mansion in the historic center. The original setting offers tasty, well-presented market cuisine. The tapas tastings are well thought-out and the menu, with its more elaborate dishes and gastronomic touches, is a success. The tasting menu is a good option. While the place is charming, service can sometimes be a little brisk.
