Facing the Gerbeaud and the Basilica, these two Christmas markets were voted among the best in Europe. A must in winter.

It has become a must in Budapest in winter. Passers-by go from one stand to another in front of Basilica Square (Szent István tér) and Vörösmarty Square, warming up with Christmas specialities (including mulled wine with spices) and delicious beigli, while children skate in front of the lit basilica. There are also Christmas markets around Budapest, such as in Szentendre (good products).

Des petits chalets en bois dans les rues et places du centre ville vous proposent des souvenirs, des spécialités : goulash, vin chaud,... Ambiance sympathique pour prendre un en-cas et pour flaner. Jolies illuminations.
