Authentic craft shops are rare in Budapest and this one is a real gem! Beautiful, decorative and useful objects, handmade in Hungary, made of wood or ceramics - declined according to the motifs of Magyar folklore - are added to a whole panoply of folk clothing (white embroidered bodice, red felt embroidered with black or indigo dyes). Candleholders, figurines, placemats, chiselled wooden key boxes, jewellery boxes, pillow cases, crockery, tablecloths... You are bound to find something to suit your taste, all the more so as the welcome is jovial.
