Sit under the plane trees of Kandanos Square and enjoy Cretan cuisine worthy of the name: tsigariasto (mutton cooked in olive oil and oregano), sautéed snails(bourbouristoi) with rosemary and vinegar, zucchini flowers stuffed with rice, homemade yogurt, baked eggplant, three-cheese pate(kreatopitta), etc. The portions are generous. Excellent value for money.
