Saint-Saturnin is famous for its superb 13th-century royal castle, built by the de La Tour d'Auvergne family. It's also a real pleasure to stroll through the village and discover its superb Romanesque church, one of the five major Romanesque churches in Auvergne, the 16th-century fountain, narrow streets, squares, washhouses and postern. Numerous panels tell the story of the village and its monuments, big and small. Adventurers equipped with GPS devices can try their hand at geocaching. Saint-Saturnin is also on one of the routes to Santiago de Compostela.
