First important step on Costanera Sur, half an hour from Quepos, Matapaló began to be very well known in the race to new resorts. Its beach is huge (not far from 45 km!) and still almost deserted, and the mountain is already nearby. The town that stretches around the Cancha de Futból has long been protected by the bad state of the road between Quepos and Sunday, but it is ancient history! The road is now excellent to the south. Matapaló rightly attracts experienced surfers who will try their two breaks at the mouth of a river. Paradise at sunset!
