At the Bellonte farm you can watch the milking of the cows and the making of the farmhouse Saint-Nectaire cheese. A film presents the life of the farm. The family has been living in Farges for eight generations. It is mainly a herd of Montbéliardes, more than 110 mountain cows with their calves that you will be able to stroke and, depending on the season, perhaps even see a calving. From November to April, they are in the barn while in the summer you can find them in the pastures. You can even buy the cheese directly after tasting...

Visite intéressante qui nous permet de connaître la fabrication de ce succulent fromage
Il y a des heures de visites, sinon un film nous explique le déroulement
Nous avons asssister à la traite des vaches
Nous pouvons également acheter du fromage et du beurre

On ne peut pas passer à Saint-Nectaire sans visiter la Ferme Bellonte. Vous y verrez une authentique ferme : traite des vaches et fabrication artisanale du fromage Saint-Nectaire. La visite est libre et gratuite. Vous pourrez regarder une vidéo qui présente la vie dans cette ferme.
Vous pouvez compléter cette visite par la découverte des mystères de Fages, tout à coté. Un complément intéressant de la vie locale dans des habitations troglodytes.
N'oubliez pas, avant de quitter ce lieu, d'acheter un Saint-Nectaire fermier.
