It is the capital of Gansu province, and a large Chinese, industrial and polluted city (it is a priori the most polluted city in China, that is to say…). The famous Yellow River which bathes it is little engaging. We fly there by plane or train from any big Chinese city. Only meager tourist interests of the city: its museum, which displays the discoveries of archeological excavations in the region and its white pagoda, which became gray.
