This museum of the arts and popular traditions consists of a authentic th century Hakka village house, restored with its period furniture. An appendix is devoted to the history and way of life of the region. There is even a nice garden and a café. A similar (but not authentic) house is reconstituted at the Hong Kong History Museum on Chatham Road.
