Fresh sashimi and seafood from this 4,000 m² market are delivered directly from Tsukiji, Japan. Tsukiji is a district of Tokyo that houses the world's largest and most famous fish market, founded in 1935. The Yamataka market therefore offers the experience of Tsukiji combined with dishes benefiting from Hong Kong's know-how. The market has several restaurants that offer five styles of Japanese cuisine: sushi and sashimi, donburi, hamayaki, lobster roll and Sapporo ramen. The Yamataka draws its culinary inspiration from the Tsukiji fish market, ready-to-go sushi, sashimi and ready meals. The design of the site reproduces the spirit of the Tsukiji fish market with the characteristic and traditional use of wood. One attraction, the sushi bar with a 270° view of Hong Kong Bay.
