The Sinis Peninsula closes the Gulf of Oristano from the north. A vast maze of ponds and marshes extends there where a characteristic fauna has developed. The coast extends from San Giovanni di Sinis to Cape Mannu. From San Giovanni, a series of beaches with clear waters and fish. Inland, however, the landscape is lonely and desert-like.To the north, Cape Mannu dominates the Mediterranean with its yellowish limestone cliffs. The wild coasts are covered with mastic and rosemary bushes. The beaches are certainly beautiful, but they cannot be compared to those of the Costa Verde, a little further south.
