Exmouth was founded in 1967 as a supply point for an American naval base north of the town. Today, it's an ecotourism paradise, with a population that swells from 2,400 between April and October to almost 6,000 in summer. Highlights include the marine treasures of Ningaloo Reef and the limestone gorges of Cape Range National Park, just outside the city. The contrasting landscapes will leave you speechless. It's a true diver's paradise, with numerous excursion possibilities. No need for a boat, you can dive directly from Navy Pier, just 14 km from Exmouth (to be arranged exclusively with Dive Ningaloo).
