A diverse collection of fossils and animals from Australia, with several impressive skeletons and performances of prehistoric animals. Colonial and fairly interesting history, photos of the first hours of Australia. Don't miss the permanent exhibition on "Stolen Generation" on the 2nd floor. In the back yard of the building, apart from a 12-ton meteorite, you can observe a megamouth preserved in formaldehyde. This is one of nine specimens of this marine monster captured between 1976 and 1995 in the different oceans. Megamouth is an extremely rare shark, close to 5 m long, which moves about 200 m deep. A mystery for science. The museum is closed for work until 2020. However, some exhibits can be found at the Perth Concert Hall and the State Library of WA.
