CRADLE MOUNTAIN SUMMIT

It is a very beautiful hike but beware, reserved for a well-informed public, it is rather difficult. Count 6,4 kilometers just for the outward journey. Count from 6 to 8 hours. It is classified as a level 5 hike with 600 meters of difference in altitude and the crossing of rocks. The trek starts at 900 meters and ends at 1,545 meters with beautiful mountain and lake views. It starts from Dove Lake and passes by Lake Lilla and Marions Lookout. Dress well for the climb as the weather can be very changeable. Good physical condition required.
