The Iron Horse Grill is the restaurant of the only Harley-Davidson dealership on the island, Richardson's Harley-Davidson. A very well-stocked dealership with a small museum on its upper floor. As for the restaurant, the obvious place to go for Harley riders on the island and for those who are just passing through, the food is very good! Obviously, the great cuisine is not there but the dishes (burgers, salads, meats...) are all very good. Billiards, darts and regular Live Music animations. A place for bikers but open to all.

Levee Food Co is located on the banks of the North Esk River, near its confluence with the Tamar River. Seafood and pizzas rub shoulders with other dishes with a Mediterranean accent but also fish & chips, inevitable in Australia. The room is pleasant but its comfort cannot bring as much pleasure as that provided by a meal on the terrace. This one is ideally located in front of the river and the pedestrian footbridge which links the two banks. A good address, especially for those staying at the nearby Peppers Seaport Hotel.

The oldest brewery in Launceston, opened in 1956. The ideal place to eat or drink in the center. Here, you will find local products divinely cooked in the Italian style. A very good restaurant to try on the way back from Cataract Gorge Reserve. The restaurant's signature dish is the seafood platter for one or two people, but the quantities are gargantuan, so it will suit several people. Red meat lovers will also be delighted by the dishes on offer, always in impressive quantities. And to round off the meal on a high note, if you're still a little hungry, the desserts here are particularly well prepared and can be shared among the table.
