This reserve is located 40 km south-west of Canberra on Tourist Drive No. 5 (Paddy's River Road). The gates are open daily from 7.30 a.m. to 6 p.m./8 p.m., depending on the season. In 2024, the entry fee of AU$ 12 per car per day will no longer be charged. This immense natural park is popular with Canberra residents at weekends. Wildlife is abundant. You'll come across kangaroos, emus, koalas and even platypuses. Access to numerous trails, BBQs and picnic spots. On your way there, be sure to stop off at the Canberra Space Centre, just 7 km from the park's visitor center.
