The small town of Berri lies 238 kilometers northeast of Adelaide. In addition to its cruises on the Murray River, Berri, population 4,000, is an important stopover for working vacation visa holders: fruit-picking opportunities (particularly citrus fruits, oranges and lemons) abound in the area.
