GREAT WESTERN HOTEL

Built in 1862, the Great Western Hotel is one of Queensland's oldest pubs and a must for soaking up the bush atmosphere. It also houses a motel, steakhouse and poker room. Enjoy fresh seafood, burgers and schnitzels. Occasional rodeos and barbecues are held in the large covered arena at the rear of the building (check the website for details), and the festivities ensure a great atmosphere. In the evening, you can also attend a country concert.
