This pleasant park stretches along the south bank of the Brisbane River and is one of the locals' favorite places to relax.
This place was the site of the 1988 Universal Exhibition and was then redeveloped into a large park. It stretches along the south shore of the Brisbane River and has a Ferris wheel, many cafés and restaurants, a beautiful stroll under the flowers, tropical gardens, a Cambodian building and an artificial lagoon and its white sandy beach (supervised, a children's area and a swimming area). It is one of the residents' favourite places to relax, and it is pleasant to walk around the neighbourhood by bike (to rent in the park).

Un endroit agréable pour se balader et passer un après-midi
Entre marcher sous les chemins recouverts de fleurs, faire de la grande roue, se baigner dans le lagoon, se prélasser sur la plage ou se perdre dans les jardins du South Bank Parkland, il y a le choix ! C'est vraiment un endroit agréable de Brisbane pour passer un moment ou un après-midi, le tout avec une très belle vue sur la Skyline. Des cafés et restaurants sont aussi localisés à cet endroits pour se rafraichir.

Parc bien aménagé sur les quais avec piscine , pelouse , piste cyclable magasins et restaurants . Un endroit agréable surtout quand il fait chaud et très accessible pour tous . Un des lieux de Brisbane où l’on peut voir des iguanes ????

Quelle piscine incroyable !!! La vue est tout simplement à couper le souffle, devant les batiments de la city. Piscine gratuite en plus, avec plage et jeux pour les enfants. Wow !!! I love Brisbane !

Superbe endroit pleins de verdure et d’espace pour se détendre. Je recommande fortement de passer au jardin Epicurious, un jardin gratuit où est cultivé pleins de fruits et legumes différents par des bénévoles. Il est même possible de venir en récupérer gratuitement certains jour de la semaine. Les benevoles sont également la pour vous donner des conseils sur les potagers et comment cultiver tel fruit ou tel légume. Allez y!

Great location for walking, lunch or swimming in the two swimming pools with views of the river and city center! Big busy weekend, people from around the corner and ibis!
