This small town occupies a pleasant location in the Mon valley, at the end of the Cheire. A former fortified village, it has preserved its remains and some ancient houses: Renaissance houses in the Rue des Awaken, a half-timbered house and old taules in the rue des Butchers, a former residence in the Rue du Petit-Paris… and of course the castle of La Barge, which gave its name to the street that shelters it. There will also be a walk to the Pont bridge, where a beautiful view of the fortifications emerges. The castle of Murol, completely redesigned in the th century, will be noted. A small visit to lively markets is required.
