PADDY'S HAYMARKET
Read morePaddy's Markets is the largest market in Sydney. Very popular and visited by many tourists, it is located just in front of Chinatown. It's true that it doesn't have a particular charm but you can buy everything there at relatively interesting prices: clothes, cosmetics, jewelry, gifts... but also food products, especially fruits and vegetables. However, don't hesitate to compare the prices advertised, whether between the stalls of the market itself or with other stores in the city.
LA RENAISSANCE
Read moreA small, narrow patisserie with a charming little backyard where you can come and soak your croissant in your café au lait. The choice of cakes and viennoiseries is impressive, and this is undoubtedly the best place to go for those craving a French-style breakfast or four-hour meal. Pain au chocolat, sweets, macaroons, cookies and assorted sweets. A paradise for children with a sweet tooth, and a choice of hot and cold drinks to accompany all these delicacies.

BUTTERBOY
Read moreButterboy is a boutique specializing in cookies, and it's a real success! A dozen different cookies are on sale, and they're all very tempting! A slight preference for the macadamia nut and salted butter caramel cookie, but the chocolate ones are all very tasty. The store only sells takeaways, but you can go and devour your cookie on the beach at Manly, which is just a stone's throw away. Butterboy cookies can be found in other Sydney cafés, a list of which is available online.
