A clean, comfortable hotel with a relaxed, friendly atmosphere and a range of activities offering good value for money.

With its brightly-colored facade, it's the most famous backpacker in Kings Cross (formerly Jolly Swagman Backpackers and recently renovated). This hostel is part of the Mad Monkey chain, which offers several establishments in Sydney. Thehostel welcomes young travelers from all over the world. Activities are organized on a regular basis. The warm, relaxed atmosphere makes it easy to meet new people and exchange ideas. Good value for money, with a minimum of comfort and cleanliness, but this can vary greatly!

I loved my stay in Jolly Swagman! The manager Joe same welcomed me in French. Each day I was called has a beautiful " bonjour" and a few French words. I found that brilliant, me that does not speak English super. The inn is very clean and close to all major attractions in Sydney. I strongly recommend!

The square and clean and well equipped, the guests are rather young and festive, so it is best to avoid going there if you can hear be quiet the evening and rise early in the morning to leave. However, if you " kind; bringeur" this place will delight you...
