This village extends both in height, around the church dedicated to Nuestra Señora de la Candelaria, which stands out for its beautiful white bell tower isolated on a volcanic mound of black rock. But also in length, following the road that leads to Sabinosa. Restaurants, bars and accommodation make it a pleasant and convenient place to stay. On Sunday morning, its small market is nice to buy some fruits and volcanic lava jewellery. Nearby, we will take the opportunity to visit the Guinea Ecomuseum to discover the way of life of the herreños and dive into the charco azul, one of the most beautiful natural pools on the island.
