This valley of the Great King is a small artificial seaside resort built by Germans who populate it in majority. If it is the most touristic village of the island, it is not comparable to Tenerife. The resort is divided into three parts: Vueltas in the east, where the port is located, La Calera in the center and La Playa in the west. For swimming, prefer El Charco del Conde or Playa del Inglés, to the west, a beautiful black sand beach. More than the resort, it is the road that leads to it that is superb and exotic, lined with palm trees, banana plantations, white and colored houses, dotted in its Barranco de Valle Gran Rey.
