It is one of the oldest towns in the Orotava Valley. The two villages, Realejo Alto and Bajo owe their royal name to the presence of the quarters of the royal armies, reales ejercitos. On the coast, the Playa del Socorro is ideal for surfers and many locals come here to watch the sunset. With five protected areas, the region is very popular with hikers and allows you to discover an exceptionally rich fauna and flora. As in the Tigaiga mountain range or the Rambla de Castro, with the El Agua trail, where the most beautiful excursions are made, punctuated by breathtaking views of the Valle de Orotava.
