The Slavia is an institution. Located on the banks of the Vltava River, it offers a superb view of Prague Castle and has hosted the country's entire intelligentsia. Its walls and Art Nouveau decor are witnesses to the great nationalist debates of the beginning of the last century, as well as to the whispers of the dissidence of the last regime. Artists and poets also used to seek inspiration here. Today, one can still find the muffled atmosphere of these places that made history, a sort of quintessence of the Central European soul.

HISTORY
The majestic tower of the National Theatre looks down on a palace on the other side of the building. And this one returns the favor without fear. Although it is not easy to bear the inquisitive gaze of such a national colossus, the Lažanský Palace has gotten used to it. This is logical, as both buildings have survived history together...

Thanks to the location in the historic heart of Prague and the spirit of the café, you are surrounded by history on all sides. These elements are enhanced by the magnificent view of the Charles Bridge, Prague Castle and the National Theater. It is possible to see them, right from the table, with a cup of coffee or a glass of wine.
