You'll be well advised to spend a little by choosing a smaller dormitory.

The shared bathrooms, including the double rooms, which are reduced to two beds, are well maintained and cleaned regularly during the day. The size of the dormitories, from 4 to 10 beds, is reasonable and the rest of the common areas, including a kitchen and a dining room, is rather warm, guaranteeing a good atmosphere. Marabou is a trendy hostel, only a few minutes from the city centre by tram or metro. It is located in a charming and lively Art Nouveau style area, well known for its dense network of traditional pubs, cosy bars and trendy clubs. It is not in the tourist old town (15 min. walk or 7 min. by direct bus) and it is only more valuable, because in this way you will also discover the "real" Prague. The dormitories are well kept, and the common areas are nicely decorated and colourful.
