This village, surrounded by strange rock formations, has a magnificent view of Vathi, 16 kilometres away, at an altitude of 600 metres. The church of the Theotokos is decorated with interesting Byzantine frescoes and the monastery ton Katharon, 3 kilometers further, invites to silence. The date of its foundation is unknown, but it was restored in 1696. You can rest in its cells for a few days (information: +30 26740 31366). The church Koimiseos Theotokou, built 500 m above sea level, is one of the oldest churches in the Balkans, probably from the 12th century. The interior of the church is impressive, covered with frescoes from the Byzantine period.
