The network from the Fira bus station, Place Théotokopoulou, is reliable enough to be recommended. To and fromAthinios (port), a service is provided from 6.45 a.m. to 9 p.m. with a bus every 20 minutes or so. To and from Monolithos (airport), about ten buses a day from 7 a.m. to 6 p.m. From Fira to Oia, a service is provided from 6.50 a.m. to 9 p.m. for sunset. For the rest, Firostefani, Imerovigli, Akrotiri and Red Beach, Kamari, Baxedes and Perissa are also served. You will often have to pass through Fira again, but the connections are fluid.

People are unwelcoming and don't help you AT all. The bus station itself us very disorganized, and to find your bus there is no other way than wait for the drivers shout announcement.
