The pretty fishing village is home to a large beach 4 kilometers north of Chora. This beach, quite popular with those who want to avoid the jet-set of Mykonos (and its high prices), is ideal at the end of the day for watching the sun set over Delos. Sheltered from the wind, it boasts a variety of water sports facilities, as well as a number of tavernas and hotels. For the more curious, head north to the sheltered beach of Houlakia. Aghios Stefanos could be a good alternative to Chora for visitors looking for a little more peace and space, and better value for money.
