A pretty village with character, Olliergues was shaped by the river Dore, which contributed to its artisanal and industrial development: mills, tanneries, canvas factories... Take a stroll around the château, home to the Musée des Métiers et Traditions, the Gothic church of Notre-Dame in typical Livradois-Forez style, and the Maison des Tanneurs. Take a stroll through Le Pavé, the town's medieval quarter, and the two humpback bridges over the Dore: the medieval town bridge, listed as a Monument Historique, and the Giroux Gare bridge, known as the Pont du Diable. The tourist office will provide you with an itinerary.
