Welcome to Milos! The island's main port, with regular bus connections to the rest of the island. Once the ship had left, bonfires were lit in all the villages, and the inhabitants jumped over them, singing: "As the armada goes, so go the shivers". Today, the Kyriavgoustos festival is still celebrated every August 31.
