8 kilometers from Chora, this is one of the prettiest villages on Kythnos. Its picturesque red-tiled roofs set it apart from the others. The village is sheltered from the wind and can therefore afford such architecture. Take a stroll through its sleepy streets. Nearby, you can also visit the vast Katafyki cave with its stalactites. If the village of Dryopida doesn't face the sea, you'll have easy access to the tiny village of Lefkes, on the east coast, with its pleasant shaded beach. Slightly to the north, there's a succession of three beautiful beaches linked by a path and a few steps: Zogaki, Kouri and Naoussa.
