The small basilica of Saint Paraskévi is located in the center of the village of Laimos. It has three naves and a wooden frame and was built on the ruins of an old church in order to be able to accommodate the growing number of inhabitants in the village. The church dates back to 1896. The other church to see in the village of Laimos is the church of the Purification. Of particular note is the representation of St. Thomas Psalmite in the apse of the diakonikon.
