This little town has everything to seduce... Set on a promontory surrounded by beautiful sandy creeks, it is surrounded by lemon and orange trees that scent the air. Tourists flock to occupy the picturesque houses, stroll through the romantic alleys of the old quarter or visit the old fortress! The waterfront is a small, car-free harbour with taverns, bars and cobbled streets. Even for the beaches, Parga is not to be outdone as there are some superb ones nearby. On the 15th of August the Varkaróla takes place here around the port. The reconstruction of the return of the Pargiotes to their land after a century of expatriation is presented.
