This small fishing village, whose name means "port of eels", is today a popular seaside resort. Archaeological excavations carried out near the village have shown that the place was inhabited since the dawn of humanity. The foundations of a sanctuary, probably dedicated to Hera, have also been found. Other excavations have uncovered workshops and other important administrative buildings. From Porto Heli, you can also go to the nearby island of Spetses. To do so, you have to take a boat from Kosta and the crossing takes 10 minutes.
