A true haven of peace in the heart of the city, this garden with its lush vegetation is ideal to recharge and relax.
The Royal Garden was designed in 1839 by the first Queen of Greece, Amalia, who wanted to make it the court of the Royal Palace (it is now the court of Parliament). Nearly 500 plant species from all five continents are included. The park, with its well-kept alleys, academic statues and majestic staircases, is emblematic of neoclassical public gardens. In the middle of lush vegetation, follow the signs: you will arrive in the Zappeion woods by the main pedestrian road that runs along the back of the palace of the same name.

Une promenade relaxante
Loin du chaos de la place Syntagma, une balade parmi arbres, statues et plan d'eau. On s'y perd un peu ... ce qui n'est pas si désagréable.

Un beau lieu de détente en ville. Cela change des parcs traditionnels, car cela est beaucoup plus luxuriant , vraiment beau.

...Dans une ville à la circulation parfois chaotique, le jardin national permet de s'extraire de la ville. De jolis arbres et un espace bien entretenu avec quelques restaurants aux prix malheureusement exorbitants et au service tristement décevant.
