On 1 May, in addition to trade union demonstrations, a large market is organised in the northern suburbs of Nea Filadelfia, accessible from the centre by trolley No. 6. On miles, the stalls come to an end, and at prices challenging all competition, clothing, accessories, toys and gadgets can be found. Tradition also means that on 1 May, we buy wreaths of flowers that are then suspended at the doors of the houses.
